PROBLEM

Venture Show is a place to showcase the two years' endurance of DMBAers. It has more than 200 visitors, including VCs, Industry experts, and Students' families. It is one of the differentiation from other MBA programs and plays an important role in DMBA reputation. Venture Show is a relatively new concept for showcasing the student's final projects that replaces the conventional Venture Pitch. As participating in the show doesn't affect the final grading and requires lots of effort during the last month of the program, some students might not participate.

CHALLENGE

How might we define, differentiate and demonstrate the value of design strategy for all audiences types?

SOLUTION

DMBA venture show human-centered exhibition that curate venture projects based on four topics, Health by Design, Connect by Design, Impact by Design, and Accomplishment by Design. DMBA venture show is designed trough collaborative design sprints in response to the diversity and inclusion, as one of the program's identity. We used Lightform technology to project interactive information and data to increase visitors' engagement, create a modern experience, and also minimize the amount of waste for a three-day show.
